A writer by trade, I started my career at Leo Burnett, moving from copywriter to EVP Creative Director. During my time there, I was able to work on many brands, ultimately running the McDonald’s account creatively. I also spent a year traveling between Chicago and Tokyo as an executive liaison to the Burnett Beacon office and Dentsu to establish a better creative working relationship with McDonald’s. In 2016, I left Leo Burnett to take a position as Executive Creative Director at We Are Unlimited, a bespoke ad agency for McDonald’s. For the first six months, I helped stand up the agency, being responsible for all creative hiring and output, until a CCO was brought on. In 2020, I moved to DDB Chicago where I led the McDonald’s family business. I also was the creative lead on winning new business pitches for Orkin pest control, Reynold’s, Hefty and Chamberlain University.
